After what has been a long, exhausting and incredibly time consuming journey, the Molloys finally have a new residence in the suburbs and have sold the old house in the City. We are all experiencing mixed emotions about the conclusion of this process - ranging from excitement to sadness - but we feel like a new chapter of our lives is now beginning. It was sad saying goodbye to our old house - the first house we ever owned, the place where we have so many memories and all of our children's "firsts" but Marty reminded the children (and maybe me too!) this weekend that a home is not a physical location - it's wherever you are with the people you love. We will create many new memories in our new house and our children will have lots of "firsts" here too. We will meet new people and have new experiences, and we will adjust before we know it.
The most important thing is that we are all together under one roof - no matter where that roof happens to be. Home sweet home.
