Vacation Snafu

This week the Molloy family joined forces with the Stauffer for our annual vacation to Bethany Beach. There were many highlights, including: Luke's first beach and pool experiences; Ellie's first mini-golf game, Ferris Wheel ride, "solo" swim in the pool, and sleep in a bed with no rail; Mommy's first kayaking experience; and Daddy's first fever in like 10 years. I will fill you in on all the details as soon as we have a free minute.

This is where I would usually post a bunch of "teaser" pictures for you to get a sense of our vacation to whet your appetite, but herein lies the vacation snafu. I didn't bring the camera. On our vacation. To capture things like Luke's first beach experience. I know what you're thinking: how does a person who takes her camera literally everywhere and snaps an average of 3 pictures every single random day when we are doing absolutely nothing interesting in the same house and visiting locales? It makes no sense to me either. But the thing is, I actually did pack the camera (along with extra batteries because of all the picture taking I was going to do) but I pulled it out because Ellie and Lucas were both doing adorable things while I was packing - Ellie climbed into the dryer (ok, I am sure that's dangerous and bad for the dryer but it was cute) and Lucas crawled under the table and was playing peek a boo with me and Ellie with the table cloth - and I forgot to put the camera back in the bag before we left. (I did, on the other hand, have lots of useless AA batteries.) I was able to borrow some cameras from the family at key vacation moments but do not have those pictures yet, so here are the pictures I took before we left that caused me to forget my camera. (Beach vacation details to come.) Enjoy!
